The isle of Culatra is a fishermen's island where the 21st century has not yet entered at first sight. The loads of tourists make a huge contrast compared to the simple houses/walkways you need to pass before getting to the boardwalk that leads up to the sea. Pay attention to where you put your feet on the paths. You might easily sprain your ankles. I saw a lady in front of me almost falling down and experienced it also twice.
