Construction of the church began in 1588 , but it was not consecrated until 1606. The following year, work began on rebuilding the front facade, which was not completed until 1640.
The facade has an elongated plan and a Mannerist gable, with two medallions framed by two Corinthian columns and at the top a glass niche with a statue of Our Lady of Mercy .
Inside, with a single rectangular nave and choir, a barrel vault covered with stucco, the main altarpiece from the end of the 18th century, the pulpits from 1781 and the case of the Iberian organ stand out.
Two large paintings from the collection stand out : one on canvas depicting Our Lady of Mercy and one on wood depicting the Visitation, dating from 1616. In 1974 it was classified as a building of public interest.
