The Congregation of Our Lady of Charity is a large 16th-century neoclassical building surrounded by gardens.
Although it is now a retirement home , there was originally a Benedictine monastery for women . It. Parts have been preserved, such as a Manueline tower , a roof and some parts of the inner cloister. The church was rebuilt in the 18th century in Baroque style.
