The Capela Nova , also known as the Igreja de São Paulo or Igreja dos Clérigos , was built from 1638.
Style : The church is an example of Baroque architecture with an imposing and richly decorated façade. Two Tuscan columns flank the portal, and at the top is a curved pediment with statues of St. Peter and two angels.
Interior : Inside you will find impressive blue and white azulejo panels depicting scenes from the lives of Saint Peter and Saint Paul . The main altar is in a Renaissance style .
