Varied stage where the first part descends between the vineyards of the Douro. Then a gently rolling section for a few kilometers before Trinidade where there is a climb. However, it is not a steep climb. After that, a descent to Mirandela followed by the last kilometers to Valpaços which again rise slightly. After the previous mountain stages, this is a stage with more moderate climbs.
