We walk this route through downtown Lisbon and start high above the city at the Botanical Garden. A common theme throughout this walk in Lisbon is the many hills. We take advantage of this to walk along as many beautiful panoramic views (miradouros) as possible. After your visit to the botanical garden, you can expect one. Climbing those hills is not always easy, which is why there are funicular tracks or special tram lines. This walk will take you to a funicular track that you can either take or walk along. The path to the cathedral can also be made by the famous tram line or on foot, a beautiful and manageable climb with lovely viewpoints. We certainly won't forget the shopping streets that are all located between the three most beautiful squares of Lisbon. You'll notice that this walking route through Lisbon will definitely take a full day, and then there is still the beautiful district of Belem that is not included in this route.
