If you have followed track 0 from Porto, the following does not apply.

To start calmly, a short route.

After arriving at Aeroporto Fransico Sarneiro just outside Porto, take the metro to Vilar do Pinheiro station. Get out, backpack around and after 1.5 km you see the first yellow arrow. You are now on the Caminho Portugues. For this tour and for all the following you can find the reference to the Video. The bagpipe player introduces the stages. This way you can always get an impression of each route. There are 2 refugios in Vilarinho. The one from Casa da Laura suited us very well.
