Did you know that your navigation system near the Kremlin will usually give you a very incorrect position? The Russian defense would say something behind that. it is suspected that she has been operating a "spoofing" system for years. That system sends out signals that interfere with GPS and other satellite navigation systems, such as Russia's GLONASS and Europe's Galileo, collectively known as Global Navigation Satellite Systems, or GNSS.

But this trick is not only known by the Russians. It was also used, among other things, in the war in Ukraine. To prevent Russian missiles and drones from finding their targets, Ukraine deployed a nationwide electronic warfare system to confuse satellite navigation. The system is known as Pokrova.
