Wat Phra Ram, or the Monastery of Rama, also called Wat Cha Ram, is a restored ruin located off the city island in the northern area of Ayutthaya, in the Khlong Sra Bua Sub-district. The area where the monastery is situated is locally called Thung Khwan. The ruin is located between Wat Sri Pho (an active temple) and Wat Jong Klom (a restored ruin).
On the site is a walled monastic complex consisting of an ordination hall (Ubosot) with a principal chedi and several minor chedis. The Ubosot, on an elevated base, had two entries in the front and two at the rear. A moat surrounded the whole complex. At the entry gate, there are the foundations of two unknown structures, left and right.
Archaeological evidence shows that the monastery has been restored several times. The site's photographic highlight is the eastern entry gate, which is covered in a Bodhi tree.
The site is only indicated on Fine Arts Department maps. Historical data about the monastery and its construction are unknown.
