Wat Jan is a brick mound with a modern shrine built on its remains. The shrine includes a long stone structure with a staircase leading something resembling an artificial mountain. A Buddha image exists at its peak, while an elephant and monkey bow in reverence. A small cave is situated on the opposite side, giving a clear view of Vihan Phra Mongkhon Bophit. The history of this secluded island monastery is unclear, but there is a large amount of broken ceramics on site.
