The most important historic monument in this temple, located to the west of Wat Sa Khai Nam, is a main mandapa. This is the highest and largest mandapa in Si Satchanalai, enshrining the largest seated Buddha image in town of which remains only parts of the legs. Traces of stucco on the wall of the mandapa bear certain similarities to the stucco on the walls of the vihara at Wat Nang Phaya, built in the Ayutthaya Period. A large ceramic tube, which might have been used either as water pipe or as window balustrade, found here was inscribed with Thai alphabets of Sukhothai period into a word read as "Nang Phim".
