Wat Ulom is a classic Buddhist monastery situated on the right bank of the Lopburi River in Nam Tao Sub-district of Maha Rat district in Ayutthaya Province. Near Wat Ulom, the Bang Phra Khru Canal splits off from the Lopburi River running into the Pa Sak River at Nakhon Luang. In the same location there is the Nong Mo Canal coming north from the Chao Phraya River, hence the Lopburi River is here literally crossed by waterways linking the Chao Phraya and Pa Sak Rivers.
