Wat Phra Loi in Phihan Daeng Sub-district, on the right bank of the Tha Jin River, was built to house a Buddha image that floated on the river. The white sandstone Buddha image seated under the Naga hood, presumably carved in the Lop Buri period, was taken from the water to be enshrined here. In the temple compound, there is a ruined ordination hall built in the U-Thong period, preserved under the roof of a new hall. Nearby, an elegant hall with four entrances houses a beautiful Buddha image called Phra Phuttha Nawarat Mongkhon as well as some ancient sandstone Buddha images.
