There are remnants of two religious sites; one in the west outside the city wall in the vicinity of a water reservoir, and another within the city wall in the western part. The stupa in the west of the ancient city was excavated in 1969 by the Fine Arts Department. The rectangular base of the brick stupa, likely a prang (a corncob-like stupa) had a portico in the four cardinal directions of which remaining stucco was decorated. The entry to the walled sanctuary was at the east. Artefacts excavated at the site are a green sand stone wheel of dharma boundary marker, an image in Lopburi style and Buddha images in the Dvaravati style. These artefacts are Kept at the Bangkok National Museum.
