Wat Ao Noi features a vihara which did require a tremendous cost in construction. The stunning chapel was entirely made of golden-teak wood, decorated with elaborate Thai paintings and exquisitely carved. There is a Buddha image enshrined. The wall was covered with elegant hand-painted murals depicting a collection of Buddhist stories. The surrounding area of the temple is peaceful with lush green shades. Tham Phra Non (the Reclining Buddha Cave) is located on the hill facing Ao Noi bay. To reach the cave and viewpoint, visitors must climb a flight of stairs for approximately 10-15 minutes. Despite the small scale, the cave is breezy with good ventilation. Inside are two beautiful reclining Buddha images.
