This style of architecture is reminiscent of the Chola style in India which covered the period 900 - 1287 A.D. The main prang was built from brick on a relatively high sandstone base, and although the walls and roof have collapsed long ago, it is still possible to appreciate its rather unusual nature; both northern entrance to the mandapa the doorway connecting the mandapa to the antarala are much taller and larger than the side entrances. Although all the brick walls have disappeared, we can surmise that the roof would also probably have been brick.
