The ancient city's plan was in a rectangle shape on a north-south axis with a moat of 2000 meters x 800 meters long. The moat comprises of two earthen dykes and a ditch in between. The ditch is fifty-metre-wide, filled with water. The dykes are also fifty-metre-wide and three-metre-high, except for the northern moat which is the natural stream Huai Khu Bua. [Source: TAT]
