This is the only Hindu sanctuary in Kamphaeng Phet. At present, only its laterite base in rectangular shape remains. Wooden pillars and structures of the roof were destroyed. The shrine was built to enshrine a bronze statue of Shiva. According to an inscription on its pedestal, Chao Phraya Si Thammasokarat had this statue cast in 1510 CE, corresponding to the reign of Somdet Phra Ramathibodi II of Ayutthaya. The inscription also mentions the restoration of temples both within and outside the town wall and the excavation of canals and irrigation canals as merit-making dedicated to Somdet Phra Ramathibodi II and Phra Athitayawong before he was invested as Phra Maha Uparat (viceroy).
