Wat Choeng Tha is on the banks of the Lopburi River to the east. The front area is connected with Narayana Ratchaniwet Palace. The west side faces the Lopburi River. It was formerly known as Wat Tha Kwian because wagons were transporting cargo into the river in front of this temple. Inside Wat Choeng Tha, there are important buildings such as the main ordination hall, a pagoda, and a two-story Chinese-style monk’s house, Sala Tri Muk, Wo Tan Tarm Sapa Building, a belfry and hall which are artistically invaluable.
