Mycale Cape is the ancient name of the cape forming the western end of Mount Mycale that plunges into the Aegean Sea, on the Ionian coast, in Turkey, off the island of Samos. It was the scene of several battles. The most famous battle of Mycale Cape was the one that took place during the second Medo-Persian War and resulted in a Greek victory in -479. Another confrontation occurred ten years later in -469.
