Barranci Camp is situated at an altitude of 3950m next to the famous Barranco Wall.
In addition to the Machame route, the Shira route, the Lemosho route and the Umbwe route also pass here .
It is a place where you can spend the night in tents . The only buildings are a hut for the rangers and a toilet with water . Due to its location in the Karanga Valley , this campsite is sheltered from the wind.
Barranco Camp is only an ascent camp and not a descent camp.
