At this beach you can see some surfers at work: Ocean Beach. If you're lucky, you also might see a seal. Very frequently, this beach is sunny while the city is covered in fog. The reason is that the humid sea air, saturated with water is pushed up against the mountains, cools of and condenses and creates mist. Here you are at the side before the air is pushed upwards.
