At the Psychology Department of the University of Berkeley, psychologist George Stratton investigated the effect of the fact that the image in our eye is projected upside down. He therefore made a device that put the image on his head before he saw it. He walked around with it for a few days. Some sources claim that after a while he simply saw the image upright, but that appears not to be true. He was nevertheless able to coordinate his movements with what he saw.
