Whitworth University is a private Christian university affiliated with the Presbyterian Church and located in Spokane, Washington. Founded in 1890, the university enrolls more than three thousand students and offers over one hundred graduate and undergraduate programs.
Whitworth competes athletically at the NCAA Division III level in the Northwest Conference as the Pirates. The school's colors are black and crimson.
