Eurode walks

Walking in beautiful Eurode
The municipality of Kerkrade and the neighboring Stadt Herzogenrath have developed 11 walking routes in the beautiful border region of Eurode. With these walks they want everyone to enjoy the beauty and rich history of this region. The routes have a length from 3 to 15 kilometers. Various routes lead along the so-called Historical Triangle, consisting of Rolduc Abbey, Burg Rode and the Baalsbrugger Mill. Along the way, hills, stream valleys, forests, special flora and fauna, the mining past and historical heritage.
The walks have been recorded by me on GPS and can be downloaded as a track. The routes are published in a full color brochure. This is available free of charge at the VVV Service Point in HuB Kerkrade (Theaterplein 30). The routes are checked regularly, but it is possible
always change something. Please contact us so that the route can be (temporarily) adjusted.
