The highest spot in the Netherlands would be at a different location on the Vaalserberg in South Limburg than is currently indicated. According to the Forestry Commission, the highest spot appears to be sixty meters further south. The Vaalserberg has a height of 322.7 meters above sea level. Staatsbosbeheer and Bureau MTD Landscape Architects discovered the error when the location of the pole at the highest spot was compared with the latest digital elevation maps of the Netherlands.
