Village and surroundings of the 12th-century fortified church of Saint-Martin
Completed in 1265, this church and the commander's house formed the Poucharramet fort. Owned by the Hospitallers of Saint John of Jerusalem, it was also a fortified platform. It is in the early Gothic style, with a single nave and a choir with a flat chevet. A doorway linked it to the hospital cloister. In 1367, fortifications were added, including crenellations, macholations and watchtowers. The bell tower dominates the building. Brick is the main material, with some structures in marble, notably those of the portal.
