With a facade and a roof registered as "Monuments Historiques" in Renaissance style, this 17th century monument was, at first, the Church of the Carmelites adjoining the convent, then a food store and finally an inn, before becoming a theatre.
The theatre opened its doors to the public for the first time in 1904 following the purchase of the building in 1902 by the town. On July 3 and 4, 1904 it hosted its first show. It is the mayor Fernand Larnaude who inaugurates this building and who congratulates the architects Damière, Gervais and Corau. Around 1935, the Theatre of Condom was remodeled to integrate the cinema. And until 1940, the cinema-theatre was sold out at every performance every weekend.
Today, the theatre is open to the public on the occasion of performances.
