A place steeped in history reminiscent of the tragedies of the Second World War, the Dinozé American cemetery contains 5,253 graves on two fan-shaped plots and 424 names engraved on the wall of the missing. This place takes us instantly to the heart of our past, heavy with emotions and memories.

This impeccably tended cemetery, the meticulously tended grounds and gardens, the serenity of the surroundings give no hint of the fierce, bitter and savage fighting that claimed the lives of so many who lie here.
Under each of these steles lies a soldier with unfulfilled dreams. This guided walk invites you to discover some of them.
We are honoured each time a family of soldiers comes to pay their respects at the grave of a deceased person. We also organize several ceremonies throughout the year where our soldiers are honoured.
A memorial overlooks the soldiers' graves, there is a coloured glass mosaic mural illustrating the landing in Toulon which led to the liberation of Epinal and a chapel housing a sculpture of the Angel of Peace.
The American cemetery of Dinozé is a place of memory but also of exchange and reflection on history.
