" Which regions are growing the strongest in terms of hiking? ". That's what our geomaticians wondered, too. You can read how they calculated this in the gray box. But if you're more curious about the results, you can check out the list below and click through on the region to see which hikes are in the top 10 there.
 

The RouteYou geomatists started analyzing the routes in time and space. They counted all hiking routes created in 2022 and 2023, and for all tourist regions. They first sorted the list according to the absolute growth in number of routes per region and then according to the relative growth. Then those two sortings were combined. So at the top you get the region that scores best in both absolute and relative growth.
