The hiking nodes network contains more information than you would suspect at first glance. Therefore, our cartographers went to work and adapted the visualization so that the information is more clearly visible.
What has changed?
- The hiking nodes network on RouteYou actually includes 3 types of networks . Each network was given its own color so that this distinction is immediately clear:
- hiking nodes that are signposted in the field by official authorities (tourism organizations)
= red lines and a node circle with a solid border - virtual hiking nodes developed by official authorities (tourism organizations)
= red-brown lines and a node circle with a dashed border - virtual hiking nodes developed by RouteYou itself
= blue lines and a node circle with a dashed border
- hiking nodes that are signposted in the field by official authorities (tourism organizations)
- Unpaved and car-free roads were given a larger line width making them more noticeable. Unpaved roads are represented by dashed lines, car-free roads by solid lines.
