The new "Plaine et Littoral de Flandre" cycle node network has been set up along the Dunkirk coast and hinterland, offering over 600 km of signposted routes.
Plan now your cycle trip on this network
A cycle network with a seaview!
Experience Flanders Maritime with all its heritage, culture and culinary delights. From coastal landscapes of fine sand to charming little villages typical of Flanders such as Hondschoote, Volckerinckhove and Esquelbecq (French Favourite Village 2023), a variety of landscapes await you. As you pedal along the Yser or the various canals, the many mills and belfries (listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site) come into view. Between the plain and the coast, history is revealed through the fortified towns of Bergues and Gravelines and the traces left by Operation Dynamo during the Second World War.
Good to know: this new cycle node network is fully connected to the Belgian networks.
