Philips came up with the Philips Activity Monitor, a small device which allows to measure and store all the movement you make. |
| The
device contains a 3D accelerometer. The measurements are combined with
your age, gender, height and weight. They are then converted to the
calories you burn in each activity. The Activity Monitor is waterproof. It comes with a small USB connector so you can easily upload the information to your computer and check your evolution. |

They
also provide you with a software to evaluate your actions and suggest
what you should do. The device indicates how much percent of
your
targeted efforts you still should do. |
