Tæru is Japanese for “to bear, to endure”, “to withstand, to resist, to stand” and “to have the ability, to be worthy”.
Initiator Dirk Baelus, former Belgian triathlon champion and founder of the Innerme Triathlon Team, had been organizing training trips in the Ardennes and Spain for many years. These outings were always wonderful experiences, unfortunately the accommodations always left something to be desired. Knowing what sports groups need, Dirk saw what was missing and started looking for a suitable location to start his own project. And he managed to realize that dream at the former 'Ferme De Blier' in Luxembourg's Erezée. The old farm, located between Durbuy and La Roche-en-Ardenne, was converted with ecological materials into the first Belgian group accommodation at a height.
The accommodation can be rented in whole or in part and is the ideal destination for sports teams such as cycling, triathlon, mountain bike, trail running and running teams.
