Description by the author

Route starts in Costa Teguise. Once beyond the tourist resort it follows a beautiful coastline consisting of old volcanic rocks eroded by the sea. Near the hamlet of Cocoteros it follows a dry river bed until the foot of Montana Tinamala. Next it leads through an area consisting of volcanic ashes that are cemented together into a hard surface. In places erosion has cut holes into the surface to create a landscape looking much like a gruyère cheese. The route next walks through the horseshoe like volcano Montana Tinaguache and returns to the starting point through the overdimensioned and ugly residential outskirts of Costa Teguise.
