Playa de Santiago via Targa to Imada: mind the gap

One-way hike from Playa de Santiago via Targa to Imada. Rather strenuous hike with 1200 m to climb, with magnificent views on the Barranco de Guarimiar. In Imada is a wonderful cafe-bar-restaurant waiting for you: Bar-Cafeteria Arcilia. A bus (linea 3) can bring you back to Playa de Santiago at 15h30 and 19h00 mond-sat and 17h30 sundays. Alternatively a taxi can bring you back.

In january 2022 and january 2023 we noticed a GAP IN THE TRAIL just outside Targa (9.2km on the trail, 740m after crossing the road in Targa direction Imada).

Coordinates of the gap: N28° 03.757' W17° 13.507'

The gap can be crossed via a big boulder, but only for the strong hearted!
