Walking Route - the most beautiful
The starting point of the walk is Los Molinos (a district of Puerto Rosario on the west coast). Los Molinos is a small fishing village. The walk ascends at the beginning to the plateau; once at the top, there is little elevation difference.
If you walk to Playa de Jarubio, you can descend to the beach. Swimming is unsafe along the west coast.
Along the way, there are magnificent views of the steep cliffs and the continuously crashing sea against the rocks.
Due to the splashing water, there are quite a few little plants to be found on the plateau.
The path follows a wider dirt road, where you rarely encounter a cyclist or motorcyclist.
The return journey follows the same path, or slightly more inland. We chose the same path, as the views are indeed different.
