The island of Lobos is only accessible with a 'certificate of admission' to be obtained a maximum of 5 days in advance via the ferry (Navieratours). The certificate itself is free, Navieratours charges 1.5 euros per person as an application fee.

It is best to make the walk in a counterclockwise direction. First follow the signs to El Puertito, then Las Lagunitas and then Faro de Martiño. Walks on side roads are not allowed as Lobos is a nature park. The last part in the north to the lighthouse is a bit of a climb, but the path is wide and easily accessible. the part of the walk to the lighthouse is not included in this route because RouteYou does not allow a return for manual routing.

When you have descended again, follow the GR 131 at the first fork on the right.

The way there is the most beautiful in terms of nature and variety of views. There are several species of plants, including endemic and endemic plants that can only be found on Lobos and that can be admired at the wooden walkway. There is also a bird hide, near the old lime kiln, beyond Las Lagunitas

On the way back you can climb the crater Montaña de la Caldera, 127m. Here the path is steeper, narrower and the surface is stony and rocky bottom.

There is no bar or restaurant at Lobos, all food and drinks must be brought (and the garbage must be taken back).
