The mountain bike trail in Tisvilde Hegn is classified as a blue trail focusing on good flow. It consists of three parts: a northern loop of about 11 km, a southern loop of about 13 km, and a connection in Asserbo Plantation, where there is an opportunity for technical training to Nyvej and back of about 7 km. The entire MTB trail can be ridden in a sequence like a figure eight.
Tisvilde Hegn is a sand drift plantation over 200 years old with a unique and highly varied nature. Tisvilde Hegn is a good habitat for many insects, reptiles, small birds, and raptors. Several rare beetles and butterflies live in the mossy coniferous forest. Tisvilde Hegn is designated as a biodiversity forest, meaning that over the coming years, the forest will become more and more untouched and wild.
