Walk along E4 to Anidri beach and then up through a nice gorge (dried out river end of May) to Anidri village. Eventually you can have a refreshment in the village. You can walk back to Paleochora by the metalled road (very little traffic) that leads down through another impressive gorge, or on local paths either through an ancient settlement (this version) or my other version where you follow the nowadays path. Steep descent at the end of the path where it rejoins the E4 track.
