Werfenstein es la ruina de un Niederungsburg en la Alta Austria ischen Mühlviertel. Se encuentra en el Danubio, en el pueblo de Struden en el municipio de St. Nikola an der Donau. Cuando el castillo fue asediado, se dice que los asediados se defendieron arrojando piedras y así le dieron el nombre al castillo.
