Werfenstein is een laaggelegen kasteel in Strudengau in Oberösterreich. Het staat aan de Donau in de plaats Struden, gemeente St. Nikola aan de Donau. De ruïne werd vanaf 1963 omgebouwd tot een privé-ouderlijk huis. Het kasteel was opgericht op een strategisch belangrijke plaats. Het maakte deel uit van een oud tol- en beveiligingssysteem langs de Donau in Strudengau.
