La ruina del castillo de Kropfsberg es la ruina de un castillo en una cima de colina en el municipio de Reith im Alpbachtal, en una elevada cordillera en el valle del Inn, sobre la ciudad de St. Gertraudi.
Los arzobispos de Salzburgo recibieron grandes partes del valle de Ziller. Bajo el arzobispo Konrad I de Salzburgo, se construyó en la primera mitad del siglo XII el primer castillo a la entrada del valle de Ziller. Era probablemente simplemente una torre rodeada de muros. El castillo fue utilizado por los arzobispos como sede de la corte y la administración de Salzburgo. Kropfsberg fue mencionado por primera vez en un documento de 1286.
