La Antigua Residencia en el casco antiguo de la ciudad de Salzburgo es el complejo palaciego del arzobispo. El extenso edificio se encuentra entre la actual Plaza de la Catedral, Plaza de la Residencia y la actual Calle Sigmund-Haffner, y se documenta por primera vez alrededor de 1120. Se llevaron a cabo extensas reconstrucciones a partir de aproximadamente 1600 bajo el arzobispo Wolf Dietrich von Raitenau y se completaron bajo Markus Sittikus y Paris Lodron. Bajo Franz Anton Graf von Harrach, la fachada se modernizó con ventanas más grandes. La Dietrichsruh en el oeste, como antaño jardín de dos partes de la época alrededor de 1605/11, fue parcialmente desmantelada alrededor de 1790 y en el noroeste fue sustituida por los nuevos edificios del llamado Tracto Toscano.
