La iglesia parroquial católica romana de Filzmoos está dedicada a los santos Pedro y Pablo, y la fiesta del patrocinio se celebra el 29 de junio. Pertenece a la decanatura de Altenmarkt de la archidiócesis de Salzburgo y es una importante iglesia de peregrinación local, donde se venera al niño de Filzmoos.
Se menciona una iglesia en 1453, en 1507 el sacerdote ya se denominaba "sacerdote de la iglesia de la gracia". La construcción gótica existente fue creada como iglesia filial de la decanatura de Altenmarkt y se consagró el 19 de octubre de 1479, completándose la torre oeste en 1546. La peregrinación al niño de Filzmoos decayó debido al protestantismo y solo volvió a ser conocida a partir de 1700.
