El castillo de Ehrenhausen se encuentra con bien conservadas fortificaciones en una ladera empinada, elevada sobre el río Mur y la localidad de Ehrenhausen en el distrito de Leibnitz en Styria del Sur. No muy lejos del castillo, en la misma colina, se halla el mausoleo de Ruprecht von Eggenberg. El castillo es un edificio irregular de tres pisos con cuatro alas que rodean un patio arcada y una torre del homenaje del siglo XII. Se menciona por primera vez en 1240 como feudo de la abadía de San Pablo en el Lavanttal. Desde aproximadamente 1260, los señores de Pettau y a partir de 1441, los condes de Schaunberg fueron arrendatarios de la abadía.
