La iglesia parroquial de Scharnitz se encuentra en la localidad de Scharnitz, en el distrito de Imst, en el estado de Tirol. La iglesia católica romana, bajo la protección de Santa María, pertenece al decanato de Telfs en la diócesis de Innsbruck. La iglesia y el antiguo cementerio están protegidos como monumentos. En documentos, se menciona una iglesia en 1630. Un edificio de la iglesia de 1797 fue destruido por un incendio en 1809, y el edificio sucesor se quemó en 1893. La iglesia actual fue construida en 1896 por el maestro de obras Peter Huter. Se realizó una renovación en 1954/1955.
