La iglesia de San Britio es la iglesia del pueblo de la submunicipalidad de Etikhove. La dedicación al santo Britio se remonta a la Alta Edad Media, cuando la devoción por este santo era popular. La iglesia ha experimentado un número considerable de reformas. En la fachada sobre la capilla del bautismo encontramos el año 1768. En la fachada trasera vemos el año 1837 con las iniciales PVO, que se refieren al albañil Petrus Van Overmeire.

El órgano de la iglesia fue construido entre 1776 y 1787 por Pieter Van Peteghem y su hijo Lambert-Benoit, de la conocida familia de organeros. En 1974, el órgano fue protegido y posteriormente restaurado en 1981.

Las vidrieras de colores de la época de 1968 a 1974 son del artista vidriero Michiel Leenknegt de Kwaremont.
