Monumento que simboliza las libertades urbanas. El Perroón es una columna de piedra que representa la parte superior de la obra. El Duque de Borgoña Carlos el Temerario quiso castigar a los habitantes de Lieja y mostrar su control sobre el principado. Por eso hizo trasladar el Perroón a Brujas. El Perroón fue reconstruido tras la muerte de Carlos el Temerario en 1477. Después de que el monumento volara por los aires durante una fuerte tormenta en 1693, el actual Perroón fue reconstruido por Jean Del Cour. Este último añadió el grupo de las Tres Gracias al monumento, el nombre dado a las figuras femeninas que sostienen la piña sobre la que se ha colocado una cruz.
