El bosque de Wijnendal es una zona boscosa muy antigua que en la Edad Media debía tener miles de hectáreas de tamaño. La zona actual abarca aproximadamente 180 hectáreas. La mitad es accesible al público, la otra mitad se destina a la investigación científica. El bosque de Wijnendal se puede acceder a través del sendero de concreto llamada Fonteinpad. Este sendero te presenta, entre otras cosas, la capilla de Nuestra Señora, sobre la cual existen numerosas leyendas. Unos pasos más adelante encontrarás la auténtica nevera del dominio.
